Ian Wright former Arsenal striker, believe Mohamed Elneny should leave the team so he can get bigger chance to show his abilities.
Elneny who didn’t have any official game time under Unai Emery, was under the spot this summer regarding potential move away.
Wright said to “Yallakora.com” in an exclusive interview regarding his opinion if he think Elneny should leave: “Elneny should leave and get regular football. He can play at any Premier League club and in the Europa League plus have the ambition to play consistently on the Champions League.”
“But he needs game time and he must be wondering why he can't get it in the Arsenal team.”, Wright added.
Wright also gave his opinion about Mohamed Salah, remembering what he said earlier about the impact of the Egyptian player in comparison with the first season of Thierry Henry.
“When a player like Salah make that great impact, he needs to work hard to fight the great pressures and expectations, but I see he made a good start in his second season with Liverpool. So to compare him with Henry whom I consider one of the greatest in history, is a good thing, and if Salah can score 15 or 20 goals every year, that would be a great success.”
Concerning the possibilities to win the FIFA “The Best” award, after reaching the final 3 list: “winning such kind of prize depends on the continuity, yet he managed to break the Messi-Ronaldo series in the final 3, and if he kept that work level, he shall win the best individual awards.”
